Thrift Store Find!!!

Check out these little cuties! Aren't they adorable? I can't wait to use them on something, a chipboard album maybe? Found them unexpectedly yesterday at the Goodwill I hadn't been to in months. They are plastic letters for sign making in upper and lower case.

Hey, Guess What I Got for Christmas!!!!

Well, it came as a huge great big surprise! I just opened a Wishblade from my wonderful DH! It has a great big instruction manual to wade through! Anyone want to come play with me? Okay, mom and Tim want to open presents so I'd better get off the computer now! Just had to share the excitement!

Christmas At Disney Altered Lunchbox

I had a little extra time today so I decided to do something fun! It's been my first day to relax in weeks! Anyway, I whipped up this lunchbox for my friend who is spending Christmas at Disney World with her three kids and all the family!

Decorating Christmas Cookies

Today my neighbor's little girl came over to help me decorate my sugar cookies. All 110 of them (she counted!). I wasn't sure how this would turn out but Rosie did a great job! She took her duties seriously and was in charge of all stars and trees. She especially loved the blue icing and came up with combinations of sprinkles that I would have never thought of! Like all five kinds sprinkled onto one cookie top! I had to laugh when I was just putting cookies down on the rack wherever they would fit and she started aligning them, just like something I would do! Tim was there when it happened and asked her if she lined her socks up like soldiers but she said no and I gave him a dirty look (he still gives me grief about that bad habit of mine!) About every 5 minutes she would run upstairs and check on my cats, who were always sleeping. At one point she came down carrying Garden Kitty and then they had some games of hide and seek, however, my cat wasn't too sure how to play this game and kept forgetting to hide. Rosie insisted I should take some breaks too, which I had never thought of doing either! She's a good influence! So, off we went outside to play in the leaves at one point and another time we stopped everything and laid down on the bed with Garden Kitty. Cats and kids sure have the right ideas! Tim taste tested some broken trees for us and said they were quite good so I believe all in all it was a success! I can't wait to do some scrapbook pages! Elizabeth

Hello, I'm Rita and I am a paperaholic...

Ok, so I just got my new cubes for my scrapbook room, minus one that got majorly damaged in delivery. A new one is on its way, which will soon complete my "wall o' paper". SO, in order to avoid being outed by my fellow DT ladies in a secret cover operation as described by Abby, here it is. A picture of MOST of my paper.

My Grocery List (scrapbook related)

My husband...he always makes me laugh at the most unexpected times! I've been not so subtly hinting about a Wishblade since Friday and tonight I asked him to add a couple of things to my grocery list on the fridge. It wasn't until two hours later when I was getting myself some water that I noticed something on there that can't be purchased at Wal Mart! I had to laugh and I ran upstairs and tried to keep a straight face as I told him he had made a mistake!

I totally scraplifted this idea from a gallery post on Two Peas. The talented scrapper did this same thing with a MM Jack-O-Lantern. Here's my take on it with a Christmas theme!

Altered Lunch Box and Recipe Box

My first try at an altered lunch box! So fun! I'm giving this one to my mom for Christmas to put pictures in from around her house that my husband took during a photo shoot awhile back! The little recipe box came from Target and was less that $2. I just covered it in patterned paper, threw on a sticker and I'm going to put all my favorite Christmas recipes in there so they are all in one place and easy to find for the holidays! There are little kraft dividers in there already!

Happy Birthday To Me...THANKS GIRLS!!!

I was having a not-so-perfect Birthday week & was in a car wreck the day before my actual birthday & got to take a not-so-fun ride in an ambulance to the ER...and then I found this surprise waiting for me from all the girls! A pink & brown cake with my name on it (it's so cute I wanted to just keep it in my scrapbook room), a Mr & Mrs Potato head ornament (they know I love Mr Potato Head) a bag of caramel hershey kisses(someone was listening) and something amazing that was made for me that I can't mention because it might be a special item in an upcoming kit. It was just exactly what I needed to bring me out of the funk that I was in & it totally did the trick! You girls are awesome & so thoughtful!!!

Stumbled upon these cool giant sized chipboard words as they were literally putting them out today at Target! They had several different words/fonts! I cannot wait to alter these for my scrapbook room! Elizabeth

Here we all are last night at Eureka Joes discussing lots of awesome products for upcoming kits! Thanks to Rita for all the awesome pictures she printed out of Memory Trends products! We've got some good ideas up our sleeves.....

What's Holly up to now?

Holly was last seen at an undisclosed location working on a little something for an upcoming kit. Okay, not a 'little something' really, but a HUGE undertaking - but you all are worth it, right? Wait....it seems she even has my 2 year old daughter working for her as well. I'm reporting you to the child labor law people, girlfriend!!!
