Trying to Find the Funny Side to This

Okay, well, yes, this really did just happen to me about 9:00pm Wednesday night.

It was either laugh or cry or go get the camera and take pictures so I could share my horror with you!

So, what do you think the titles should be for these pictures? Here’s my top 13 so far!!!

How I Spent My Wednesday Night
Why I Am No Longer Pro-Plano
The Other Side of Scrapbooking
Accidents Do Happen
Why I Should Sweep My Floor More Often
This Did Not Just Happen
*%#@*%
I Think I Forgot To Latch The Bottom Section
I Know What I’m Doing For The Next Hour
Maybe The Plano System Wasn’t Such A Good Idea
This Reminds Me Of What Happened With Mindy’s Tic Tac Containers
I Have To Get My Camera For This One
At Least This Will Make A Great Scrapbook Layout

Here it is.....June Dream Kit Sneak Peek

Better late than never, huh! I am posting this with the disclaimer that not everything is pictured and not everything in the picture is actually here, so this is the "planned" kit.

Chautauqua Festival Booth

We had the most beautiful weekend for this show! My husband sets up there annually to sell his local historical videos. In fact this is where we met 7 years ago! Anyway, Rita and Jennifer came out Saturday and we had a nice little SLD display set up. There was lots of interest in our kit club and nice comments about the kits and layouts!

May Embellishment kits...

Ok, so I know my photography skills are no where close to the awesome kit pics you have come to expect from Jennifer, but since the final two boxes of products just literally arrived on my doorstep moments ago, this is what you get! LOL!

Sign of the Times

We at Scrapbook Lover's Dream are preparing for a show this weekend. It will be at the Howard Steamboat Museum in Jeffersonville, IN May 20 and 21 from 10-5...their annual Chautauqua Arts and Crafts Festival. Are you impressed that I can spell Chautauqua? It's a must in this area for some reason!

Anyway, here's a peek at the sign I made and the van is packed and ready with SLD goodies!

If you are in the area, come by and see us! Elizabeth

Birthdays Do Have Scrapbook Benefits

Well, at first I wasn't thrilled with the idea of turning 35. But when my husband and I went to Indianapolis for the weekend and he said, okay, you can spend $350 on scrapbook stuff ($10 for every year), it suddenly didn't seem so bad! So off I went to three LSS and Joann's and blew the entire wad in four hours! You know, if the same offer stands in five years, 40 wouldn't be too bad either....Elizabeth

Turning 35

I just knew it was all downhill once you turned 35! At least my husband still loves me, and what's not to love about him?

CONTEST #1 - National Scrapbook Day Celebration

Since Saturday is also a local holiday around here (aka Kentucky Derby 132) we are going to start celebrating National Scrapbook Day early!

Our first contest will require you to post a layout in the Members Galleries section of our gallery. You must use items from any of our embellishment kits and it must be the first time you have posted that layout on SLD. A random drawing of all entries will determine the winner of a nice little prize package sponsored by SEI!

Please be sure to include "contest 1" in the title of your layout post!

If you are unable to post, as I know many of you are, email your layout to me at rita@scrapbookloversdream.com and I will upload it for you.

Good luck!
