November Family Tree Projects- Paper Bag Album

Supplies: Trimmer, Scissors, Adhesive, Ink Pad,
Pictures, Lunch Sized Paper Bags, Hole
Punch or Crop-A-Dile

1.) Cut patterned paper into squares measured to fit
bag size leaving some of the bag edge showing.

2.) Place one paper bag on top of the other with open
sides in opposite directions. Fold in half.

3.) To punch holes along spine, measure ½ inch down
from top edge and ¼ inch from spine. Mark with
a pencil and continue to measure next 4 holes at 1
inch apart. This could vary depending on size of
bags.

4.) Punch holes where marked with the Crop-A-Dile
or a hole punch.

5.) Cut each ribbon and/or fibers 5 ½ inches long and
tie through the holes.

6.) Ink edges of patterned paper if desired and adhere
to album pages including the front and back
covers.
7.) Mat pictures if desired and adhere to each page.

8.) Add embellishments.

9.) Be sure to use the pockets! Cut patterned paper
the same size and adhere 2 sheets back to back for
additional picture space. You could add a piece of
ribbon or a tag on the end for easy pulling!

These are quick and easy albums to make! You can have as many pages as you desire depending on how many pictures you want to use. I often use them for creating a theme album of a particular event I want to remember! Elizabeth

November Family Tree Projects - Candle Center Piece

I had intended for this to an Altered "CANDLE", but it turned out to be a Center Piece with "CANDLES". I started with 3 different sizes, and in this case colors, candles and the charger (plate) from Walmart. I picked up the raffia bows & sequin pins (or from Mindy if you forgot yours at home) from Michaels.

Next I cut cardstock to about 4 inches on the tallest candle and smaller as I got to the smaller candles. You can eyeball this to suit your needs and tastes. I cut the patterned paper 1/2 inch smaller than the cardstock.

I tried to use just glue dots to adhere to the candles, but it became clear than it was going to need more. Mindy had the great idea to use sequin pins and it worked like a charm. I still used the glue dots for extra support.

I used the sequin pins to attach the raffia bows and I used one of the 5 petal crochet flowers and attached it with a brad.

In about 1 hour you can have a finished center piece. Wouldn't it make a great gift for a family, friend or a Hostess gift, even a teacher? Enjoy!

Look at the "cupcake holder" I made from a Sonic drink carrier! Put a cake mix in the back, a tub of frosting, some cupcake liners and some sprinkles, wrote a note to my friend wishing her a fun day of happiness and viola - it was finished! And quite well received I might add! Total quickie that really just made someone's day!

Just a fun evening spent working on a little project for SLD. Grilled chicken, homemade mac n cheese (the very best in the world), corn salad, and chocolate cupcakes for dessert. Cupcakes just seem to be popping up everywhere we turn here at SLD!

It took me a week, working every night to create these cards. Most were inspired (if not almost completely CASED) from an old Stampin' Up catalog, where I had gone thru and marked each card that I really liked with a post-it note. So, after offering a collection of handmade birthday cards for my church's service auction, I got to work. I love what I ended up with, even those that are blatantly not my original ideas! lol Hope you enjoy seeing them too.

oh, and that service auction got snowed out and re-scheduled to the end of March, so I'll probably add a few more, as I've really enjoyed making these! (you can click to enlarge them a little if you wish)

Waaah! We flooded!

We got a LOT of rain here in Louisville last night and today....and Holly's basement flooded overnight! Which means, our SLD warehouse flooded cause that takes up 25% of her basement! All product is fine - and the March kits were well away from the water....but they are in a position where cleanup has to be done to get to them. Shipping of the March kit is delayed, but they will get sent ASAHP!! (that's 'as soon as humanly possible'!!)

Here is a sneak peek at our August Dream kit...

The "rockstar" along the bottom was cut from a lanyard we were given at CHA last week! The guitar is stitched with embroidery floss, inspired by Bazzill's new line of stitching products. Everything else (except the two black eyelets inside of the photo turns and the cream MM paint on "star") is from the kit. IRL, the letters and the journaling block match, but the bulk of the letters causes it to scan weird.

Everything is from the kit, except the "joy" from GinX paper (I think!) and the cream brads in the center of the photo turns.

Today my neighbor's little girl came over to help me decorate my sugar cookies. All 110 of them (she counted!). I wasn't sure how this would turn out but Rosie did a great job! She took her duties seriously and was in charge of all stars and trees. She especially loved the blue icing and came up with combinations of sprinkles that I would have never thought of! Like all five kinds sprinkled onto one cookie top! I had to laugh when I was just putting cookies down on the rack wherever they would fit and she started aligning them, just like something I would do! Tim was there when it happened and asked her if she lined her socks up like soldiers but she said no and I gave him a dirty look (he still gives me grief about that bad habit of mine!) About every 5 minutes she would run upstairs and check on my cats, who were always sleeping. At one point she came down carrying Garden Kitty and then they had some games of hide and seek, however, my cat wasn't too sure how to play this game and kept forgetting to hide. Rosie insisted I should take some breaks too, which I had never thought of doing either! She's a good influence! So, off we went outside to play in the leaves at one point and another time we stopped everything and laid down on the bed with Garden Kitty. Cats and kids sure have the right ideas! Tim taste tested some broken trees for us and said they were quite good so I believe all in all it was a success! I can't wait to do some scrapbook pages! Elizabeth

I've been not so subtly hinting about a Wishblade since Friday and tonight I asked him to add a couple of things to my grocery list on the fridge. It wasn't until two hours later when I was getting myself some water that I noticed something on there that can't be purchased at Wal Mart! I had to laugh and I ran upstairs and tried to keep a straight face as I told him he had made a mistake!

My first try at an altered lunch box! So fun! I'm giving this one to my mom for Christmas to put pictures in from around her house that my husband took during a photo shoot awhile back! The little recipe box came from Target and was less that $2. I just covered it in patterned paper, threw on a sticker and I'm going to put all my favorite Christmas recipes in there so they are all in one place and easy to find for the holidays! There are little kraft dividers in there already!

I was having a not-so-perfect Birthday week & was in a car wreck the day before my actual birthday & got to take a not-so-fun ride in an ambulance to the ER...and then I found this surprise waiting for me from all the girls! A pink & brown cake with my name on it (it's so cute I wanted to just keep it in my scrapbook room), a Mr & Mrs Potato head ornament (they know I love Mr Potato Head) a bag of caramel hershey kisses(someone was listening) and something amazing that was made for me that I can't mention because it might be a special item in an upcoming kit. It was just exactly what I needed to bring me out of the funk that I was in & it totally did the trick! You girls are awesome & so thoughtful!!!

Archivers Grand Opening in Louisville

Well, here's what it's like to go to an Archiver's Grand Opening: First, I set my alarm for 7:00 am (on a morning that I could have slept in!). I woke up at 6:30, laid in bed till 6:45 and decided I could use that extra fifteen minutes! I was showered, dressed and had packed my last minute stuff for our flight today by 8:30 am when I hit the road. Now, it's POURING down rain, absolutely POURING. I could hardly see at times, it was dark and gray out and there was ponding everywhere! I drive on two interstates not going more than 40 mph at any given time. At one point, I hit the brakes LIGHTLY and they didn't respond...very scary! Then I hit some ponding on down the road and my SUV did a little jig! UGH! I SO should have turned back but I didn't want to! I arrive (safely after a lot of prayers) at Oxmoor Mall and find the line already wrapped around the corner. It wasn't too bad though! A girl stops me and asks if I'm Abby...she's one of our customers at SLD! She said she recognized me but didn't know my name and knew Abby was coming! I briefly felt like a scrapbooking celebrity or something! I stake out my place in line, excited to know that I'll be among the first 100 and get my free gift (a roll of American Crafts Ribbon....a little disappointing after what I just had gone through to GET there, but free nonetheless!). Mindy arrives next and then Abby, Holly, Ehren, Eris and Abby's friend. At 9:30 the gate goes up and the chaos begins! It was pretty orderly though and everyone that bumped into me said they were sorry! Two of the corporate owners were there and the funniest thing was the one man running around the store with needle nose pliers in his hand....he would go up to a customer, whip out the pliers, and tighten the hooks that hold the handle onto the hand baskets. Guess they hadn't gotten around to that prior to their opening....It was neat to see the store fully stocked with no empty spaces! Lots of goodies and a make and take (tags, Abby did them!) in the back. It was fun to run into people we knew and to talk to other excited scrapbookers! These are great rubons! Tried them out last night and they are very easy to work with! They come in red and white. Catch is you only get half the alphabet per package so it's a $2 investment to get the entire alpha. But, that's still a good deal!

I found this packet of goodies on my table when I got home from work today! Tim said Archivers dropped this "media kit" off to Candyce at Fox 41 today and she knows I scrapbook so she sent it on to me! I have to say I was impressed! Some nice MM products, a glue pen, a Zig writer, a cats eye chalk ink pad, fiskars silver photo corners, several sheets of papers...I just love FREE STUFF! Elizabeth

Glitter Dots Embellishments

Okay, how cute are these? I stumbled on them today at Ben Franklin. Yep, they got me, I went in to use my 40% off coupon and managed to come out with four additional items. Yep, they got me. Anyway, back to the dots. These were hidden at the end of an aisle with the Dress It Up buttons and they are so stinkin' cute! I thought they'd be adorable in the center of a blossom. They had all different colors. I settled on yellow to start with. Thought I'd see if I liked them, well, actually ever used them! Then maybe Santa would put some other colors in my stocking or something...hey, there's a good idea! $1.99 stocking stuffer. Anyway, the fall ones were with the other fall Dress It Up buttons and embellies in a more prominent place in the main aisle. You get yellow, red, orange, and brown! 5 of each! They had one package of adorable red and green checked buttons in the shapes of hearts and squares marked down half price so I picked them up too! And, sit down now, I bought a big yellow foam star for 50 cents that I thought would make a great template for patterned paper! They had a neat heart I almost got but passed on, I wasn't sure it was big enough! Tons of other shapes though. Why do they ALWAYS come out with more cute stuff I get sucked into buying? Oh yeah, I did use my coupon on a Sizzix set of four small circles. That should come in handy. That was what I went in for initially. Elizabeth

Okay, so the Sunday of Labor Day weekend my mom was down and suggested we take Tim's old Chevy Impala out for a spin and go eat at Sonic's drive in. So, we all pile in, there's PLENTY of room in those old cars, and head over to Sonic. It was a beautiful day and I just happened to bring my camera along. So, we ended up doing this little photo shoot of me pretending to be like Elsie as well as a taking a bunch of pictures of us literally ON the old car.....sometimes the most unexpected photo opportunities turn out to be the best!

California Dreamin' part 2

I finally have my pictures uploaded from my trip. Since my mom & sisters are not scrapbookers, I know it's a shame, I had to pick my stores wisely. I had been to all of these stores in the past except Table Scrapz. My first stop was to Scrapbook Oasis in Irvine. What a fun store this is. It was previously owned by Lil Davis but now is owned by a wonderful women I had the pleasure of meeting, but for the life of me, I can't remember her name, I want to say Karen, but I'm not sure. She prides herself on having the latest and greatest products on the market and as you can see from their blog, she is able to get great class instructors.

On Friday we headed farther south to San Diego, I had to stop at Ever After in Carlsbed, which is in San Diego County. Since I was there last they have moved to a much LARGER location in the same shopping center, but wow, that is all I can say, it is huge! Great crop area and I got to see some of the class samples that are coming up, no pictures of these, but they were great!

On Sunday we ventured over to Brea to Table Scrapz. When I was there last year they were moving their store so I was not able to go. What a treat this store is as well. Very nice employees and hey, they had Quickutz products 30%, that's always a bonus. I picked up a tab die and the new icings rubons I've been looking at for some time! It was a good shopping day!

Some how I completely forgot to head to Costco and try to get my hands on the Heidi Swapp kit, but, then I decided, I probably have all the product in the kit I would want anyway, so I hope I don't ever see it and realize that I just HAD to HAVE it! That would be so sad!

We hit lots of other shopping spots, but these were the only scrapbook related stops we made. We at Rubios on several occasions so I could get my fish taco fix. Wow, those are the absolute best fish tacos on the market! Thanks for sharing my trip with me!

California Dreamin' part 1

Aw, finally back home from my trip to Southern California! What a great time it was to just hang out with my mom and sister! We shopped and ate and laughed and laughed!!

My highlight of the trip was our visit with Thena Smith (http://thenasmith.blogspot.com/). She is such a joy! We ate at a wonderful little cafe in Coronado over looking the San Diego bay! We laughed so hard! She is hilarous! We talked about her new book that is ready to be released tomorrow, "C is for Christmas". I just finished listening to her on World Talk Radio! She is so wonderful! Oh and here is a picture of her and I, San Diego is behind us! Isn't is beautiful? I have a few more pictures to show, but it will have to wait until later.

I Needed Some Pictures....

For the upcoming Halloween kit, so we invited some friends over tonight for a photo shoot! Well, okay, while you will probably see a layout soon, that's not really why they were at our house (and we had never laid eyes on these people before in our life!) Our house was a movie star tonight! And so was my husband! Low budget, couple of local New Albany guys doing a series of detective movies on DVD, asked if they could use our porch for filming, then decided to do a scene IN the house once they got here! This segment was a dream segment and will be entered in the Waverly Hills film festival to show in October! Then it will be incorporated into the longer movie. Tim played the weird butler and came to the door polishing a skull. Anyway, one 1980s hearse in our driveway, 6 goth people, a cute little cheerleader, one vampire and a werewolf putting his makeup on in our bathroom...it was all a little weird, a whole lotta fun and Tim said the quote of the evening was when everyone had packed up and left and I said, "Why is there still a werewolf in our bathroom?" Okay, so I'm working away on my paper bag recipe album yesterday and I get to the very last embellishment I want to add....a brass photo turn. I couldn't decide if I should use a brass brad in the center or a colored one so I asked my dh to come in and help me decide! So, I pose my question to him and do you know what he said, and he was so dead serious....he says, "Well, do you have any colored brads?" Do I have any colored brads? Hello! I showed him my two and half clear storage boxes full of tic tac like containers with about 3,000 brads and he just said, "Oh." Then we had to decide whether to use green or red. Okay, I highly recommend an annual Christmas in July crop! It was so much fun! What a great way to get those Christmas layouts done, or should I stay started? The Christmas music really put us in the spirit and I loved getting my Christmas dishes out to put our goodies in!

Yes, that's what we did Saturday! Elizabeth, Mindy & I worked on Christmas' past. I was able to get a few pages done, but I was distracted with all the 2003 pictures I came across! Do these things mulitply over the years? I did discover that I had mostly completed 2004 but have not even touched 2005! I have a lot of work to do prior to taking one Christmas photo for 2006! Which really means, I have to have them all scrapped prior to Thanksgiving, cause this is when we celebrate the holiday with my dh's family.

Oh what fun we had! Elizabeth had a few Christmas decorations up, (ok, she always has them up), we had wonderful snack food and of course the day would not be complete without hours of Christmas music! We had it all, however it was a bit hot outside, LOL

I have the pictures of the decorations, and Elizabeth has the ones of us cropping! We hope everybody will be able to come next time. It just wasn't the same without all of the Design Team being together!

Okay, how cool is this? Rita and Holly rock! They went out of their way to haul all this cool stuff back for us, and we each got this stuff! Plus two cds of over 800 pictures they took of layouts, products, and scrapbooking celebrities! WOW! I think my very favorite thing was the, not one, but TWO packages of the new SEI lines! We got tshirts, stickers, chipboard, an SEI album, magazines...I can't list it all! Thank you girls!

Okay, so I'm not an awesome photographer and this isn't the way cool 'official' kit picture that ya'll are all used to - but without special backdrops and lighting, this is what you get! I absolutely LOVE this KI Memories 2 sided cardstock! And I think you will all 'freak out' (I just went 80's on ya!) over the embellishment kit that COMPLETELY COORDINATES (that's a HUGE hint)!!!!!!! You seriously have to treat yourself to both kits. You will not be sorry.......but if you don't get both kits in your hot hands, the therapy bill you'll have to pay to get thru the trauma will be horendous. LSS Made Me Feel SO Welcome!!!

A little plug for a LSS in St. Louis that I visited Friday a week ago....For Keeps Sake on Lemay Ferry Rd. They were so nice! They recognized me as the obsessed scrapbooker who called them a week before from Indiana to get directions to their store and one of the employees ran over to a wall of travel items and gave me a St. Louis Arch/city die cut (retail value $3.99!!!) as a gift! I've never had a store do that before! Found lots of goodies there, including two things I'd been hunting for...the RED Lil Davis wooden letters and the Daisy D's monogram transparencies! Woo hoo!

Yep, that's my dh playing with my pink Heidi Swapp iron Sat night! It was so funny, he called it a Heidi Snapp iron because the W looked like an N! I was working on embelly kit layouts and Tim asked if he could use my little iron to mount some negatives on slide mounts that he had taken with an old camera. It was just the right size for his project and he joined me in my scrapbook room while I worked on my layouts! It was really fun! And then he even fixed me dinner (now, mind you, it was a mini frozen pizza but I can't recall him EVER fixing me dinner because he doesn't cook so I was completely thrilled and all I had to do was come downstairs, sit down and eat!) Check out my major find! All these wonderful, vintage, fancy buttons on their original cards! Made a quick stop at a thrift store yesterday expecting to find nothing and look what was waiting for me!!! I couldn't grab them up fast enough and they are so unique! Striped, glittery, beautiful colors and shapes, lots of character! I usually pull them off their cards but I tossed them all into an old enamel refrigerator drawer, put them on my new vintage rolling cart, and am just going to enjoy looking at them for awhile......

Thought I'd also throw up a picture of another old refrigerator drawer I bought yesterday, it's perfect for my old feedsack fabrics! I love these old drawers! Elizabeth

I am in heaven. I got exactly what I asked for for my birthday (which was yesterday, btw!) Crocs Athens!!! Aren't they lovely??? Seriously, these are the absolute best thing I have ever put on my feet! My 17-yr old made fun of me, until she tried them on! Now she also owns a pair!! If you haven't tried these bad boys on, run - don't walk - to Dilliards or Dicks or anywhere else that carries them and slip your feet into sheer luxury! Thanks, Jen, for introducing me to them!!

What you see here is Jennifer's hubby, Mike, and Rita's hubby, Chuck (and if you look REALLY close, you can see Rita's son, Noah, peeking over the back of the couch) assembling boxes for kits to ship in! We owe them a HUGE thank you!! We also recruited Holly's daughter, Chelsea, to help assemble kits!

Our goal was to get everything ready to go out the door on Thursday morning - a big goal considering we only had a few hours on Wednesday evening to get it all together. The girls worked feverishly to assemble kits while the guys put together boxes. Then, we put kits into boxes. Chuck printed labels, Holly, Chelsea, Jennifer and Mike applied labels and sealed boxes! It was beautiful........almost fluid-like!

Our mission was a success!

I've been making my way through all the Big Lots lately, they have some great K&Co stuff right now. However, last night I found these cool vinyl letters at the one on Shelbyville Rd. in St. Matthews. 99 cents buys you approx. 184 letters/numbers of the black and red per pkg! Thought I'd try the sparkley numbers and see if they would look cool on a layout! These vinyl letters remind me of the Lil' Davis Architect letters that were totally overpriced retail but thanks to Tuesday Morning I'm stocked for life and at the much more affordable price of $1.99 each!

No Plano incidents tonight! Mainly because I tried to stay far far away from them while I worked on a Christmas layout! I definitely did not want a repeat of last night's fun (huge sigh).

I am so excited! I've busted out 5 Christmas layouts in the past week! That is more (Christmas layouts) than I've done in years. For some reason, I have a really hard time scrappin' my Christmas pictures but I got a big pile of them out from 2004 and am wading through them. I am pretty pleased with the end results too! We had the most beautiful weekend for this show! My husband sets up there annually to sell his local historical videos. In fact this is where we met 7 years ago! Anyway, Rita and Jennifer came out Saturday and we had a nice little SLD display set up. There was lots of interest in our kit club and nice comments about the kits and layouts!

Birthdays Do Have Scrapbook Benefits

Well, at first I wasn't thrilled with the idea of turning 35. But when my husband and I went to Indianapolis for the weekend and he said, okay, you can spend $350 on scrapbook stuff ($10 for every year), it suddenly didn't seem so bad! So off I went to three LSS and Joann's and blew the entire wad in four hours! You know, if the same offer stands in five years, 40 wouldn't be too bad either....Elizabeth

Since Saturday is also a local holiday around here (aka Kentucky Derby 132) we are going to start celebrating National Scrapbook Day early!

Our first contest will require you to post a layout in the Members Galleries section of our gallery. You must use items from any of our embellishment kits and it must be the first time you have posted that layout on SLD. A random drawing of all entries will determine the winner of a nice little prize package sponsored by SEI!

So, four of the seven of us DT girls and two other friends went to the movies last night to see "Stick It" and I think we were the only people in the entire theater over the age of 18! When we walked out of the theater, we decided that we were also probably the only ones there who weren't in a hurry to get home to make curfew!! Nothing like a bunch of young, tiny cheerleader bodies to make you feel REALLY old and out of shape! LOL!

Here is a great sweet treat for a late night crop--lots of protein from all the peanut butter :) I totally pilfered this from the Pillsbury website but they are just too good not to pass along! We had them at kit assembly--a perfect compliment to Elizabeth's hot cheese dip! Enjoy :) --Mindy

Choco Peanut Butter Cups
Ingredients:

1	roll (18 oz) refrigerated peanut butter cookies
1	cup white chocolate chips (6 oz)
1 1/2	cups creamy peanut butter
1	cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (6 oz)
4	oats 'n honey crunchy granola bars (2 pouches from 8.9-oz box), crushed (3/4 cup)

Directions:

1.	Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 24 mini muffin cups with cooking spray or shortening. Cut cookie dough into 24 slices. Press 1 slice in bottom and up side of each mini muffin cup, forming 1/4-inch rim above top of cup (dust fingers with flour if necessary). Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Cool in pans on wire racks 5 minutes. With tip of handle of wooden spoon, press dough down in center of each cup to make room for 2 tablespoons filling.
2.	Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, melt white chips and 3/4 cup of the peanut butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Divide mixture evenly into cookie cups (about 1 tablespoon each). Refrigerate 10 minutes.
3.	In same 2-quart saucepan, melt chocolate chips and remaining 3/4 cup peanut butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Divide chocolate mixture evenly on top of peanut butter mixture in each cup (about 1 tablespoon each). Sprinkle crushed granola bars over top of each. Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour. Remove from muffin cups before serving.

Eyelet Setter and A Concrete Porch

So, yesterday I dug out my eyelet setter, which I hadn't used in years, and punched holes in paper bag albums for my mom. I took my tools and albums and set up shop on our front porch. I was busy hammering away when my DH appeared and asked me if I was putting holes in the concrete. I looked under me and said, "Well, only three so far, and they're small ones...." He wasn't overly impressed and made a trip to the basement to supply me with a concrete block to save the rest of our porch! Elizabeth

......3 of us walked out of a movie theater after seeing the opening of Silent Hill. It was sooo foggy, we couldn't see the end of the parking lot. The movie was not scary, and people laughed out loud several times thruout it. We joked about how dumb it was all the way back to our cars. But that didn't stop me from being scared the whole drive home! I'm such a dork! We had terrible fog last night which is EXTREMELY rare. And with the fog so thick, I could barely see the tail lights of the car in front of me, no more than 2 carlengths away. I kept thinking of these funny looking creatures from the movie walking out of the fog in front of my car! Then, I had the idea of a hitch-hiker standing on the side of the road and walking out towards me! (you know, like that old scary movie?) So then, it's 3am and I'm getting out of my car and I RAN into my house cause I thought something was going to walk out of the fog behind me! I swear, if any of my neighbors could have seen me I'd just DIE! lol Then, it's 3:15 am and I'm finally getting in bed. Dh was snoring which he NEVER does! I laid there thinking, this 'feels' like my husband but DOES NOT sound like him.....I'm lying next to someone or someTHING else! ( did I mention that I can be such a dork!?!? ) I had to lean over and touch his face to feel that it really was his head lying on his pillow! ROFLOL (if he ever knew.....Ü ). I love scary movies! :-)

Hot Cheese Dip Recipe!

I made this for last night's kit assembly and it was a hit! I love trying out new recipes and I believe this one came from a Taste of Home magazine.

Several of you asked for the recipe, so here it is. It would be great to take to a crop or weekend scrapbook getaway, as long as you have access to an oven.

Hot Cheese Dip

2 cups (8oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cups (8oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups mayo
chopped onion
1 can (4 oz) chopped green chilies, drained
pepperoni
1/2 cup sliced ripe olives, optional

Crackers, french bread, veggies

In an ungreased shallow baking dish or pie plate, combine the first five ingredients. Top with pepperoni and olives. Bake, uncovered at 325 degrees or until bubbly and heated all the way through. Serve with crackers, bread or veggies.

Note: It took longer than 25 minutes to cook. It might help to turn the temperature up higher, but watch carefully. My favorite was the Wheat Thins with this! I also cut the pepperoni slices in half before covering the top of the dip with them!

The final products for our April Embellishment kits arrived yesterday, so expect to see a pic of it on the website very soon. These kits should start shipping out today. I am so freakin' excited for you all to get your hands on them and I hope you will agree with me when I say they are worth the wait.

Sassafrass Lass literally shipped the stamps to us like as soon as they were coming off the assembly line!

On a side note, everything for our May Dream kit will be here by Friday! That may not mean much to you all, but considering that the past several kits have been coming to us at the very last possible minute, this makes me VERY happy!! Wanna see a peak??
